Fundamental technologies

The basis of all areas of application is formed by the fundamental technologies of Augmented Reality. These are an area of research and their purpose is to support both the high-end / power applications in development and the low-end application on the belt of the skilled worker in the actual manufacturing and servicing environment. In addition an open system platform is required which is able to cope with differing performance levels and which is also portable. The aim is support, geared to market requirements, for product-manufacturing and servicing orientated information and communications technology to be used by specialists, technicians and engineers.
